Did you know that curling is the world's fastest-growing winter sport?

Curling has long been a source of pride in Canada and currently boasts close to one million registered participants of all ages! If you are looking for a fun way to stay active all winter long, curling has a lot to offer. It’s a surprisingly great workout with a warm camaraderie amongst participants.

Do you prefer to get your exercise in the mornings? Then the Pointe Claire Curling Club Day Ladies is for you! All our games take place early in the day (with the added bonus of coffee with new friends after!). Which leaves the rest of your day open to the myriad of other things you have going on.

The PCCC Day Ladies is one of the most active women's day leagues in Montreal. Known for their welcoming and supportive environment, their focus is on player development and friendly competition. We make curling a thoroughly approachable sport!

So you want to give curling a try, but aren't sure how to get started?  Have no fear - we are here to help!
Learn to Curl Program
Our popular one week learn to curl program is an ideal way to get introduced to the sport.  In the Fall, we have a pre-seaon week when we offer curling instruction from certified coaches. They’ll get you up to speed on the rules, the delivery and sweeping. No sweat!
Then each Tuesday morning until Christmas we continue to support our new curlers with clinics to help improve your skills.

Do I need equipment?
All you need to get started is a clean pair of running shoes and comfortable, loose-fitting pants.  A helmet is also a good idea. We will provide an instructor and all the equipment you need. We have a supply of slip-on sliders and brooms that you can use while you are learning - how awesome is that?!

Curling is a sport that can be enjoyed by people of all ages and abilities.  Give it a try!

What are the next steps?

Your next step after learning to curl would be to sign up for one of our draws. We’ve got lots of different options available and our webpage keeps everything super simple and let’s you know what’s on the schedule and how to sign up to play.

Our Match team puts together all the teams for each draw so you never have to worry about finding a team to play with. We’ll take care of all the logistics for you.
